~capitolLetter is a well overlooked artist even though his art is amazing. It is reminiscent of paintings from earlier eras. His choice of warm colors grouped together with his great eye for detail make Gypsy Tying Scarf an amazing oil painting worthy of being featured as a Daily Deviation. although technically, this is a superb piece, with Rembrandt quality yellows, i would have wanted to see a bit more green to conter-balance the warm reds (just a bit, maybe on the scarf on her head), and i could easily tell this was from a candid photo of a costume change.... I kinda got hooked with your earlier "staged" classic paintings and was looking for a little more drama. But your technique is there, no question about that. Fascinating use of texture on the costume. Over-all, a very good technical piece, i should say.
